"Haralal" was his call name that Baromama used.
"Baromama" was mostly Haralal's call.
But, sometimes simply, Mama, uncle.
Haralal, adoringgly used to call me Bhaidi , my dear brother.
The root of the social chain binding us all in such calls was unknown to me. What I knew was that Haralalda was a retailer selling garments in Gariahat hawker's corner. He had a shop there and he lives in our locality.
But , I knew, both Baromama and Haralalda were refugees from erstwhile east Pakistan, now Bangladesh.
They shared the same district of origin , District Barishal. My father , Hharalalda's mama came to India from there when I was not born. The language was common - Bangaal Bhasa of Barishal.
